Samsung teases Android XR glasses with phone & watch integration, ‘reasonable’ price - 9to5Google
Following a partial unveiling at its Unpacked event last week, Samsung is teasing some further details of its upcoming Android XR glasses, including their “reasonable” price point. Speaking with The Korea Times, Samsung teased its first pair of smart glasses as being defined by the fact that they will be “made by a smartphone specialist.” Whereas Meta is building the product as a standalone accessory, Samsung’s glasses will have deeper integration with the rest of the Galaxy ecosystem and, as such, are “an extension of the experience centered on the smartphone, rather than being a post-smartphone device.” Samsung teased some of these integrations on stage during Unpacked, including some gestures on Wear OS watches to control glasses, as well as the ability to see photos captured by the glasses in a notification on your phone.
