When Baron Corbin made his big return to WWE, he did so by going right for a mid-card championship. He targeted United States Champion Trick Williams right away, earning himself a spot on the SummerSlam premium live event t0night (Sun., Aug. 2, 2026) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Unfortunately, they were given a tough spot on the card — tasked with following an opener that featured Kevin Owens making his return after 17 months away to steal away the number one contender spot for the WWE championship. Owens vs. CM Punk is an exciting prospect, enough to take away from any excitement for Corbin’s latest push. Lil Yachty was out with Trick, as he was given the star treatment. But he was also, at least in part, Trick Willy’s undoing. Late in the match, Corbin grabbed the fuzzy championship to use it as a weapon. Yachty refused to let him in the ring but ended up tossed through a table set up at ringside. The referee was distracted with that, and it gave Corbin the chance to use the title as he originally intended. One finisher later and we have ourselves a new champion. That’s certainly a choice to make. Get complete SummerSlam results and coverage of the entirety of night two by clicking here.

Tenisha Warner, widow of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, opens up about being a single mom amid lawsuit over estate - CBS News

Updated on: July 23, 2026 / 8:45 AM EDT / CBS News One year after actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner drowned in Costa Rica at the age of 54 while on vacation with his family, his widow, Tenisha Warner, has filed a lawsuit against his mother, Pamela Warner, in her capacity as successor trustee of the Warner family trust. The suit seeks to recover at least $1.2 million from that family trust and alleges, in part, that Malcolm-Jamal Warner — known for playing Theo Huxtable on "The Cosby Show" — did not "purchase and maintain a term life insurance policy on his life in the amount of $1 million" or on Tenisha Warner's life, as allegedly stipulated in their premarital agreement.
